This specific gathering serves a dual purpose: showcasing local automotive builds and honoring the life and legacy of Ken Hoshauer, a foundational figure in the Lancaster County car community, while raising vital funds for the Lancaster County Children's Alliance. Beyond his automotive interests, Ken was known for his 47-year marriage to his wife Cathy, his career in the home mortgage industry helping local families achieve homeownership, and his distinct personal interests—including bowling, Flyers hockey, and Disney. To pay tribute to his vibrant personality, attendees are highly encouraged to wear Hawaiian shirts to the event, a signature look of Ken's. Cruising for a Cause: The Lancaster County Children's Alliance In alignment with the Hoshauer family's wishes, this memorial car show will include a dedicated fundraising initiative.
